Brief Intro

In Obsidian, you can bookmark notes, graph views, search queries, markdown headings, canvases, etc.
Bookmarks are their own entities and can be named.
You can also create bookmark groups, which are essentially folders of bookmarks and can be recursively nested.
- This can provide a secondary hierarchical structure, besides folders.

Use Cases

Have a set of notes you want to keep top of mind? Bookmark them.
- e.g. Bookmark a note titled “Yearly Goals”
Have a workflow where you’re consistently working with a common set of notes? Create a bookmark group containing all those notes.
- e.g. A bookmark group titled, “Next essay”, that contains all the notes related to that essay.
Have a graph view with specific filters that you commonly use? Bookmark it.
Have a search query that you commonly use? Bookmark it.
